Custom Pinball Cabinet Artwork

.For our own Data East GnR Pinball restoration project we have custom designed our own designs to cover the Cabinet, Head Box, Lock Down Bar, Side Rails and Legs…

Following the original scratchy cartoon design very closely, our new vector based design presents much nicer quality, while maintaining the original visual appeal. Of course this is just starting point that may change by the time we go to print.

All artwork and printing is done in house.

Not only that we will be printing onto Chrome Wrap film with high gloss over laminate for an auto grade finish.

Custom Made Pinball Topper

Our first ever Pinball project is our own Guns & Roses Pinball – Data East 1994

Below is our first custom pinball topper concept design. This will be illuminated by LED either by internal cavity at the rear or edge lit from the bottom. After a few prototypes we will decide which we prefer.

Current State of the Data East Pinball

Currently our GnR Pinball is 100% working and we love playing it… However the body art and cabinet condition are in rough shape. the photos suggest the conditon to be much better than they actually are in person. Most of the colour has faded out and the previous owner coloured in many parts with felt tip colour markers producing a very poor result. Lots of damage all over the cabinet with missing chipped off wood, structural cracks and damage, scratches and general fading and general wear and tear for this 32 year old pinball machine… It deserves better!.. It deserves a restoration… Thats what it is going to get.
